I am using mediacoder for simple CD Rip to my hard disk, But I am getting file names like Track01 , Track02 etc...
Is there a way to detect the album information and file names through the internet ?
Thank you very much. I searched about this on google and this forum but couldn't find the info, If I missed an obvious answer about this somewhere I am sorry.
Can Mediacoder detect the track names online ?

Re: Can Mediacoder detect the track names online ?
AFAIK, MediaCoder doesn't support that kind of functionality. It can't search online nor can it detect the track names from the CD metadata. You'll probably have to use another program to rip CDs if you don't want to manually edit the files to put in the metadata.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

If you want to use Mediacoder for your ripping then something like tag scanner http://www.xdlab.ru/en/
can look up the tags and rename the files appropriately.
