Convert DVD to MJPEG

I have no idea what I am doing...I am trying to convert a dvd to mjpeg to put on my child's tablet. I thought I finally got it to work, but the file output is always .avi instead of mjpeg. What could be causing this? I have it set to MPEG2/ MP3/ AVI. Please help! Thank you!

You did set the container to AVI so the result will be an AVI file. Under the "Container" tab, choose the "MJPEG" option in the drop down list...
