Cannot join VOBs into a single AVI - ClassFactory error

When I join the VOBs into a single AVI the AVI does not seem to work. Got a strange error when tried to played avi:

Cannot play this file
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class.
(0x80040111)

Anyone can help????

Rip the VOBs of the movie into one VOB before encoding as an Avi, then divide the avi into smaller pieces if it necessary.

'No File Splitting' or 'Maximum file size' is usually an option of rippers.
