Not sure if it's possible to run two different versions on one computer, especially if you try to use the same MediaCoder ID on each one. You can try this though. When you're installing the second version, don't use the default install directory otherwise it will overwrite the other version. And don't register the MediaCoder ID on the second one otherwise the server might detect two instances and might revoke it or whatever happens.
As for using an older Premium version, I have no idea as I don't use Premium. Stanley replied in your other thread to just upgrade so it might be that Premium users are forced to upgrade after a certain period?

yes i think you maybe right about premium being forced to upgrade.altough i cannot understand the logic as stanley has said in other articles and the advice section if you find a version that is good stick to it,yet this is impossible for premium users... :?

You may be right about having two versions linked to the same ID (not good).

However, I have Premium 5600 and it does NOT request that I upgrade -- I use the usual trick, as explianed in the Guide on Presets, when setting up the Starter Preset..

Also, I have had up to 5 different builds installed on my PC at any one time (for testing).
This I did by installing them as portable versions. This is explained in the Guide on MediaCoder versions, IDs etc.
Currently, I have Premium 5600 installed and build 5150 as a portable.
I suggest you shouldn't have two Premium versions installed, as above.
