I am hoping someone can help me with Rotation.
When I choose an Picture-Effects-Rotation values of "90 degrees CW", "Last Error Code: 013" occurs. When Rotation is disabled,
transcoding completes successfully.
I tried the tip of selecting a matching Pixel AR of 16:9. After selecting 16:9 from the drop down, the value appears to change to 1:9 in the GUI interface. Error 13 occurred in this case too.
The source file is AVC in a MP4 container.
I have attached the preset files to this message.
Error (13) when selecting Effect-Rotation
Moderator: HuggiL
Re: Error (13) when selecting Effect-Rotation
I changed the "Source" setting (under the "Video" tab) to "MEncoder" and got it to rotate successfully. Also, change the "Aspect Ratio" setting (under the "Picture" tab) to "Keep Pixel AR" otherwise you'll end up with a video stretched sideways into a normal 16:9 ratio.013
Description: A video source error is encountered
Possible causes:
The active video source cannot decode the input file or device
Solutions:
Try other video sources
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Re: Error (13) when selecting Effect-Rotation
Yes, your success HuggiL is consistent with the advice in the Guide on Rotation, listed under Tips & Guides.
However, the Guide suggests other choices for Resize and PAR.
I guess I should have suggested the rotation guide earlier when I first saw this topic, but I had assumed that atIr had seen it since the Tips & Guides section is prominent.
