trouble with 5.1 AC-3 encoding (5356 full)

Hi guys,

I seem to have trouble on a lot of my TV recordings that contain 5.1 AC3 sound, I'm trying to convert them to 5.1 AAC with x264 video in the mkv container but mediacoder keeps treating them as 2.0 and screws up the channel order. Sometimes they work as intended but most of the time mediacoder keeps insisting that the file is 2.0 only when it's definitely not.

If I check the file in the main mediacoder dialogue it tells me that it's AC3 2.0 sound which is wrong:

If I then open the Properties of said file it suddenly shows the correct information:

MediaInfo output:

And for completeness sake my Audio Options:

If I try to force it to 5.1 in the "Sound" - "Channels" tab it converts it to 5.1 but only with the front left/right speakers used.

Any ideas where the problem could be?

Windows:
instala FFDSHOW-TRYOUTS y HAALI MEDIA SPLITTER

Mediacoder:
usa pestaña VIDEO-->SOURCE-->SYSTEM [pa usar FFDSHOW-TRYOUTS]
pestaña SOUND-->CHANNELS-->ORIGINAL

pushea el boton START y tendras un AAC 5.1
