Everything relevant is blocked by search engine with error
Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"
Yes, your choice of words are too cryptic.
You need to be more specific. For example, 'source' can mean many things and '5.1' is just a number.
What are you looking for?

Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"
Since when its not allowed to be "cryptic" to a search-engine?
Google doesnt care a sh1t about it.
But here in this board, I have to explain every little thing to board-users before I can start to search for it?
Yeah well, no thx. Good luck with that.

Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"
This is a user-forum. I am a user just offering my thoughts.
If you don't like responses to your question I am sorry -- I will leave you in peace in the future.

Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"
Its not about "wanting someone to respond", its about the settings of the search function.
Its not a real search-function if I have to post a topic about my search-queries before Im allowed to search them.
Tharts plain utterly bad service and simply not appropriate in these times.

Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"
As I mentioned above, this is a forum for users and if you wish to ask a question or have someone offer advice then by all means go ahead.
However, there is little point in using the Forum to criticise the structure or a feature of the Forum.
Bashing your head against a brick wall serves no useful purpose.
Either live with the facilities offered by the forum, as the rest of us do, or send in a suggestion to the "Feature Request" section.
