Has anyone tried converting to this format with success. I not sure how to do it.

I just tried it and the following worked.
1) File > Revert All Settings
then:
Video tab: Format = Huffyuv, Encoder = FFmpeg and Source = MEncoder
Audio tab: Format = PCM, Encoder = FFmpeg and all else at defaults
Container tab: set at AVI with Multiplexer = Auto Select
Picture tab: Resise and Frame Rate = Original and Aspect Ratio = Keep Display AR

This seemed to be the answer to my quest to convert some mp4 files to huffyuv so that I could edit in VirtualDub, but when I follow the advice above I just get Error (14), 'Incorrect parameters for FFmpeg'.
Looked at the FFmpeg options but no clue as to what to change. :(
