Dropbox mode

Post by vidshooter » Sun Jun 05, 2011 1:17 pm

I've just started using Mediacoder.
I was looking for a converter from MPG to DV/AVI so I can add interesting MPG clips to my DV movies in Premiere Pro. All the ones I tried (about 8 of them) produced AVIs with significant horizontal artifacts.
(This might be a fact of life when converting up from MPG, but MediaCoder seemed to be the best.)

I found a problem when figuring out how to use 2011 R6 5158. I switched to Dropbox mode and couldn't get back! Tried everything, eventually uninstalled and re-installed build 5160. Haven't been game to try Dropbox mode.

How do you switch back from Dropbox mode?

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the Forum.
I cannot help with the Drop Box, as I don't use it.
However, I convert many files for editing in Premiere CS3 and the Guide on Premiere (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=9488) may help.
There may be others of use (see Tips & Guides below).
Have you checked out the Tips & Guides for MediaCoder? Try: http://forum.mediacoderhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8061
Also, get older builds at: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MediaCoder/old-versions#download
