Hi all,
when downloading videos from german Mediathek using
MediathekView
http://sourceforge.net/projects/zdfmediathk/
I can watch them on the computer using vlc. Everything works fine.
To be able to watch them on my television Philips 7xxxx via mediaserver TVersity I have to trancode them into H.264.
vlc shows these codec details:
stream 0:
typ: audio
original id: 68
codec: mpeg audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga)
language: german
channels: stereo
samplerate: 44100 Hz
bitrate: 128 kb/s
stream 1:
typ video
original id: 69
codec: windows media video 9 (wmv3)
resolution: 960x544
======================================
When opening the video with MediaCoder info shows no video content:
-------------------------------
General
ID : 47464 (0xB968)
Complete name : D:\Download\Mediathek\Videos\45_Min_-_Angriff_aus_dem_Internet.ts
Format : MPEG-TS

Overall bit rate : 1 768 Kbps
Audio

Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
Format : MPEG Audio
Format version : Version 1
Format profile : Layer 3
Mode : Joint stereo
Mode extension : MS Stereo
Codec ID : 3
Duration : 43mn 23s
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 128 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
Compression mode : Lossy
Stream size : 39.7 MiB (7%)

----------------------------------------------------------------
As a result there is only audio in the output, but no video
How can I solve this problem ??

Re: no video when trancoding from source container TS
Nobody ??
Maybe I should mention that I use
MediaCoder 2011 build 5100
and
Mediathek 2.5.0
Mediathek uses flvstreamer-2.1c1_win32 to download and save the videostream.
VideoLANClient (vlc 1.1. is able to play the downloaded videos.
MediaCoder does not recognize the video-content in the downloaded files.
How can I optimize this???

Re: no video when trancoding from source container TS
Is it proper that stream0=audio and stream1=video ?
Please try changing the stream order with TSmuxeR, demuxing each ES(video and audio), re-muxing them as stream0=video and stream1=audio.
Try Mediacoder with the newly re-ordered TS.

Yes, thats the information about this video I found in vlc.kawamoto76 wrote:Is it proper that stream0=audio and stream1=video ?
Puuh. Sounds complicated. Could you provide a step by step description? I am a newbe on MediaCoder, sorry. Please try changing the stream order with TSmuxeR, demuxing each ES(video and audio), re-muxing them as stream0=video and stream1=audio.
"MediaCoder2011-R2-5125" doesnt help.Try Mediacoder with the newly re-ordered TS.

Handbrake is not able to detect the format too.mixer wrote:otherwise try Handbrake which is a converter to mp4/h.264 only.
