Hi,
well, I had problems with the older builds of Mediacoder when I tried to access to the advance settings under x264 (0.7.5.4780 for example; even safe mode browser setup didn't help) after upgrading to firefox 4.0, so I upgraded to RC3 5075 and the problem is solved and I can access the advanced settings for x264 again. So for me Mediacoder RC3 5075 32bit works with firefox 4.0, also when accessing the advanced settings under the x264, CUDA, xvid tab etc., they all work correctly.
Tested on a Windows XP 32bit SP3 PC, Firefox 4.0 (final), mediacoder 2011 RC3 5075 32 bit (full installer).

Settings no longer work using Firefox 4
I am using 0.7.3.4685 x64 on Windows 7 x64. Firefox upgraded from 3.6.15 to 4.0.
Previously under Firefox 3.6 I was able to access the Settings command under File to change Mediacoder settings. But after upgrading to Firefox 4 the Settings command is no longer accessible. It outputs the error message "Platform version 2.0 is not compatible with...".
I tried editing the MaxVersion setting in the application.ini file inside the xulapp folder to a value of 2.0 or 2.1, but then Mediacoder simply won't display anything when I tried to access the Settings command.
Do I have to upgrade to a newer version of Mediacoder or downgrade back to Firefox 3.6 to gain back access to the Settings command? Is there another solution to this? You know, you yourself said that if the version I am using is working fine it is best not to upgrade, and that's exactly in my mind. I would prefer continuing to use 0.7.3.4685 at this point.

Hi,
By clicking on the settings' button (with wrench symbol), the window for the Settings would pop-up, just like when you use "Ctrl+S".

If anyone has any clue on how to make firefox 4 loading xul application with "-app" command line argument, please let me know.
