CT aacplus encoder failed??

Post by bochen415 » Wed May 31, 2006 8:27 pm

I've downloaded new Mediacoder20060530, and couldn't encode mp3-> aacplus(CT).
Mediacoder showed the "copy enc_aacplus.dll" dialog but I did copy the file to the codecs dir (enc_aacplus.dll and nscrt.dll from winamp 5.22 not pro)
I've cheked twice, no luck, then I downloaded an older relese (20060521) and the encoding worked out of the box.
Is it the new winamp plug or a bug in mediacoder.
I've tried different settings.
I liked the new relese (with portable firefox and a mp3pro input plugin ;)
What's wrong with the new relese??

A not so good news is, the latest CT aacPlus encoder coming with the latest Winamp 5.22 can't work with the current interfacing code. The one in Winamp 5.21 version did work.

Hi, it's Charles.
As I am not 'up' on ACC container, please bear with me.
Just to get things straight. You want a MP3 resulting in an
CT ACC+ container, Yes?
I've set the Container TAB:Default
I got an MP3. Worked OK. However, according to MediaInfo, the resulting
file is an MPEG-1 Audio Layer3. Is that right?
What's the resulting extension?
If you have a small CT ACC+ file, please let me have a look. Just put a
link where I can download it.

All the best
Charles

No, no aac container, just a transcode from mp3 to aac(CT), and as above I agree with the winamp 5.22 plugin not workin and 5.21 workin well.
I've downloaded the earlier version and it did work(somehow)
Thanks guys :)

Hi.
I've done it. AAC output with no problems
Will post in 'Tips And Guides' a.s.a.p
Charles.
