6 ch to 2 ch Audio Conversion Problem

Post by Dillington » Wed Dec 29, 2010 3:47 am

I extracted a 6 channel audio. It is a MPEG-4 AAC file. I load the file in MediaCoder Audio Edition. On the sound tab, stereo is selected, the rest are left as default. When I click Start , it begins converting but 5 seconds in and a window pops up saying: No file is outputted. Also job complete pop-up. I tried converting this file to MP3 with the same results. What is going wrong here.

The default settings may not be sufficient. I have the full version not the Audio edition, so I cannot check.
The audio Source, Format, Encoder, bitrate and resample are all important.
Either experiment or post what you are using and someone may experiemt for you or already have the answer.
