Autoselect aspect ratio

Should be standard ... detect pre-existing aspect ratio and match it for the output. Just a suggestion.

No I did not. My bad. Sorry.

I'm using the latest version: 1.0-20100720.
I have an i7 CPU Q720 @1.6GHz
Video Card: GeForce GT230M, CUDA_Capability=1.2 1100Mhz 64436B 1024M Software 1.2

The input file I used was as follows:
Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 640x360 24.01fps
Audio: AAC 44100Hz stereo

So I preselected 16:9, and the only options it gives me for resolution is 640x480, 480x320, and 320x240. I selected 640x480, since all the resolutions there are basically the same 4:3-ish aspect ratio.

So of course, the output was 640x480 (so it stretched it to meet the 640x480 resolution, so perhaps it's doing what it's supposed to do ... and that's why I'm recommending that it output to the same resolution instead of forcing all output to one of the three on the "Ecode Settings" tab: 640x480, 480x320, and 320x240. Maybe have a 4th option called "match input", er something. Just a thought.

thx!
-Dave
