[PSP Edition] Audio disappears in half of a movie

Post by homie » Sat Jun 05, 2010 7:55 am

Hey there
I was trying to convert an mkv clip with two audio tracks to the PSP's mp4 using MediaCoder PSP Edition but when I play it the audio disappears after about a half of the movie (at 10:50/23:31). I was trying to use FACC, Nero ACC and Lame MP3 in all qualities and every time the sound was cut in halt (using Lame MP3 even after few minutes). When I use AviSynth for decoding I get the whole audio, but wrong track (I need second one but whatever I set AviSynth always converts the first one).

I was googling for this problem and I found that it might be related to the MEncoder crash and it was recommended to change the multiplexer or the encoder, I can't remember well. So I downloaded the standard MediaCoder version that I could customize the conversion and change more options but even when I achieved to convert the movie with working video and audio on a PC I couldn't manage to get any of the converted files to work on a PSP. I always get 'unsupported media' error.

PSP Edition; MPEG-4 AVC (Normal); FAAC Normal:

Too many audio packets in the buffer: (4101 in 793740 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.

I load the subtitles from the separate file but I think it doesn't matter. Btw, is there any way to convert the subs as a hardsubs not from other file but from the track in a converted file?
