I got an error encoding on psp-avc.

Discuss about generic usage of MediaCoder.

I got an error encoding on psp-avc.

Post by therock003 » Wed Jun 28, 2006 2:10 am

I select h264 as video, mplayer as audio and lame. And 3 passes.and bitrate control by analysis, but at the end i got an error saying that no transcoding was done, and something might be wrong with the settings.

A)What options are not suported by pmp-avc?
B)Other than mediacoder do i need something else installed?Like tha patched x264?Cause i don't have it.

i can also confirm that i get this same error with all settings i choose when converting to avc pmp. no transcoding is completed. this is with 0.5.0 pre 7 and pre 6 0.5.0 pre 3 was working, but i uninstalled that to try the newer versions.

thanks

You should use the PSP plug-in, instead of setting up parameters yourself (of course you can). Click "Device" button and choose "Game Console"

By doing that you get limited options though. You can't set anything, you can only choose, high normal and low,you don't have any real options to play with.

Why is there an error using the option from within the menu?
