using time start/end positions

Post by assailant » Thu Jul 23, 2009 5:13 pm

mediacoder audio edition version 0.6.2 build 4202

im trying to transcode the audio from xvid encoded avi videos into 128kbit mp3.

i only want small 5s soundbytes and dont want to have to transcode the entire video and then cut the mp3 down so i am using the start and end position function following the hh:mm:ss:mmm format.

however every time i use the start/end function and then hit transcode it only transcodes for a brief moment and says complete but the output is a 2kb mp3 with nothing in it.

i have tried a few different xvid videos and tried at different times throughout but i get the same result. (for example 00:11:12:000 --> 00:11:20:000)

i would rather avoid having to transcode the entire video if possible!

Thanks for the help :)

The previous versions are no longer maintained. Please try the latest version and report if the problem still exists.
