MediaCoder Audio Edtion 0.6.1 released

MediaCoder Audio Edition is based on MediaCoder. It nicely integrates many audio codecs and tools into an all-in-one software. It decodes almost all popular formats of audio files as well as audio stream in video files and encodes them with all its supported (and even some not claimed supported) audio encoders. All the codecs are included in the standalone software. With CUE Sheet and DVD/VCD/CD support and many additional features, audio enthusiasts can convert all their favorite music freely to any format on-the-fly and in batch.

Great work! Any plans to realease the Audio Edition as a standalone zipped file?

Hi, the download links on the MediaCoder audio edition page aren't working...

Also...


Can you fix up the options for LAME mp3 output? Having two options "bitrate quality" and "algorithm quality" is confusing. Algorithm quality is outdated, new versions of lame using --vbr-new as default should only need the bitrate quality setting.

Let's just have one slider, 1-9 to correspond to the -V 1- V 9 settings on Lame

The Algorithm quality slider which currently corresponds to the obsolete -q switch in LAME should be removed. VBR-new doesn't use this.
