Currently there is no such facility in mediacoder to do that. But I think you can do this by specifying extra command line options to MEncoder.

iPod video is MPEG-4 with AAC. I don't know the detail spec of iPod playable files. But you can try.

Video format: Xvid
Audio encoder: Nero AAC, set to LC-AAC
Container format: MP4

You may well need to resize the video to a certain resolution.

To see if a file is seekable, play it, and press left/right arrow keys to see they work.
