Currently swf is not supported by MediaCoder. A list of supported files can be found at the buttom of this page: http://www.mediacoderhq.com/index.htm I suspect the the instant crash is because of mediainfo scanning the file to find out what kind of audio and video streams it has. Sorry, but I don't...

I recommend trying out build 4048 and using mplayer as audio source and mencoder as video source and encoder. This combination works flawlessly for me (also with mkv).

Actually that's very strange because it never happened to me since a long time ago. I transcode about 10 to 20 22 minutes videos every day and even when i transcoded my mp3 library to aac it never popped up. According to Stanley it's not supposed to happen either. You said you unzipped the 4166 rele...

I use Firefox 3 on Vista, too. In the screenshot he is using Opera.

It's really weird that it still popups for you. Did you install it over a very old version?

For your first problem I would recommend using the "stable" version (4048). This doesn't fix the problem, but it happens a lot more rarely.

As for the second, the reporting website feature is disabled since 0.6 so you shouldn't see it in any recent version (I don't).

Personally, I never used wma (only mp3 and since quite some time aac) and voted for yes accordingly.

However I don't think this will turn into something serious and everyone with an antivirus will be safe.

I suggest placing them on the other side of the batch list. Just make a small bar with them on the left side.

I think it's really overrated to call that kind of behavior spyware though.
Cause it only checks for updates etc and doesn't submit any data of what is on your pc, what you are using it for and so on.
And you can turn all of those things off in the settings dialogue...
