The only option (in Windows) that I have found ... Another option... just install WMP10 and/or MS Codec Installation Package for WMP7.1 and later. AviSynth (DirectShowSource)? AviSynth and necessary filters/codecs to play WMV9 installed? You can use Source=AVISynth and change from AviSource to AviF...

I'm download MediaCoder 0.6.0 pre8a (rev 3520).
Welcome - fixed.
Menu Plugins - still inactive.

I'm confirmed - it's in b.3438 (0.6.0-pre5), when select format MPEG4.

But in b.3386 (0.6.0-pre4a) - OK - MP4Box not used.
