I also get the audio bug from time to time.. It doesn't seem to matter what format or container the source file is, it just appears randomly.

My settings: h264/nero aac, frame rate to 23,97

i usually convert everything to mkv, then i can also add tracks later with mkvmerge gui, if you want to play them with something besides the pc it cant be used of course.

i dont understand that question. are you searching for a video editor or do you want mediacoder to be able to transcode into .amv?
as far as i know amv are mostly xvid or x264.

it is at least compatible with vista ultimate 32 bit cause i am running it right now and there have been no compatibility issues.

nice work so far! i am looking forward to making my own extensions once the guide makes it possible (especially you saying coder knowledge is not needed is encouraging me).

now thats nicely done, only the issue is missing, if you would add it, everything would be perfect:)

concerning the muxer breakage with mencoder: its as described by me in one of my previous posts. with some files it works and with some it doesn't.
