Can you add a feature to transcode a file at 2x or user defined speeds. The audio could be distorted but no problem ,the user may leave it if he wants.

Transcoded file not clear!!
I have been using 3980 without any big issues. But whenver I attempt to transcode a asf or wmv file with H263+ (avi) and lame audio I get some annoying boxes .The sane is with any other frontend and backend. The resolution is not clear even if the bitrate is high.If the bug already is attended to let ...

Thnx for the reply
Because none of the codecs use cbr (from what I know). They all dynamically use the bitrate to give more in situations where it's needed and less in case of f.e. a black screen. This may be why the exact bitrate is not met. However, when using h264 I get pretty much the exact bitrate so I may be wr...

Bitrate fidelity
Whenever I try to transcode files with h263 or Xvid or ffmpeg the final bitrate is not in tune with what is asked for.For example ABC.mpg has a videobitrate of 600kbps. I set a transcode video (avi) bit rate of 600 kbps the final product has 565kbps.In the second attempt I increased the bitrate to 7...

Happened with me too!!
I do not know whether it is a bug with capital extensions say "AVI" as you mentioned. In my case there was a file ABC.mpg wrongly denoted as ABC.avi (possible by typing extensions to files). An earlier version of Mediacoder read the file correctly as ABC.mpg.Since the output was in the avi mode it de...

At the moment u must transcode in order to join within mediacoder. So the input files of different specs will be converted into the same. Fine! But within the same genre it could join them? Let us say for example I have a file ABC.avi of 45 MB.I make it to 3 parts (using Mediacoder)for the sake of ...

Time indication!
Ver 3940 The slots given for hour ,minutes and seconds is very small compared to the previous edition say 3800 series and the automatic conversions of entries are also not working. Suppose I key in the end time as 450 seconds ,since the slot is small 4 is not visible and shows as 50 seconds which is...
