But typical audio editor works on uncompressed audio.
Well... Audacity can open (decode) MP3 and edit, but when save to MP3 must encode again.
While mp3DirectCut can edit (only cutting and few other of course) without re-encoding.

It possible, but with seriuos issue - huge transcoded file with 1000 FPS. Maybe try other way... Re-encode only audio (to WMA8). And replace audio used AsfBin or Windows Me...

Odd... When I transcode some AVI file - can render this (external) subtitles. But when transcode this specific MKV file - not have rendered subtitles on video image in new transcoded file. It's very odd, because MEncoder syntax is exactly same. Also I don't have this issue with some other MKV files...

How do I get the window that allows you to set source file properties? I thought I had it, now I can't get at it. Item > Details of Selected File or eventually look at Properties on the right side. Check what is frame rate (FPS) and set same value in Picture tab (use arrows if not see this tab). ht...
