Looks like this problem is with version 4488!
I checked version 4399, using the Huffyuv codec on a 1-GB VOB file in NTSC, which had 59,000 frames.
It worked -- did not truncate!

NTSC encoding Truncates at 30,000 frames!
Initially, I had thought that version 4488 on MC had a problem with the Hyffyuv codec when applied to NTSC clips for AVI. I had found that it truncates (ceases processing) at 30,000 frames, equivalent to 16:41 min, small for a VOB (1 GB is maybe 30 min or so). Then, I found that this also occurs for...

Re: MediaCoder wont change framerate
Thanks for your suggestions. Actually, F6 doesn't help. It just indicates that it is encoding at 29.97 even though I had set 25 fps - no reason. Since changing to a newer version 2 weeks ago the browser opens every time I try to open MC and my checking 'Do not show this page on next startup' makes n...

Re: MediaCoder wont change framerate
Why does MediaCoder have settings for frame rate on the Picture tab if it doesn't make use of it?

Re: encoders are failing
I think Stanley is suggesting your file is faulty, not your version of MediaCoder!

MediaCoder wont change framerate
I had a number of FLV files, a mix of PAL and NTSC clips, that I wanted to put on a DVD together. However I needed to edit them. So, I converted tham all to PAL (720x576 and 25 fps) as either ASF or AVI (to suit Premiere CS3). However, Mediacoder did not convert the NTSC clips to 25 fps for any Vide...

Re: VOB to AVI not coding video
Two comments:
1. I doubt if huffyuv takes any notice of your quality setting, it would give max bitrate whatever.
2. My conversions all work for IMA PCM audio (both Video and Audio with auto select Souce and FFmpeg encoder)

Re: Saving preset does not save audio bitrate
I've just tested the stability of the audio bitrate for Presets that I use, for example, with IMA ADPCM. It works!! However, it may appear not to be so. If the bitrate on the audio tab is changed to a value different from that of the Preset and the Preset is reloaded, the displayed bitrate did not c...

Re: Buggy Audio Delay for v. 0.7.1.4450
Thanks for the confirmation! Unfortunately, most VOB files that I have examined with the App MediaInfo have negative Video Delays! Hence, a negative Audio delay of the same size is required. Your results also confirm why the 'Delay' value set on either the Sound tab or the Time tab do not work (nega...
