The only thing I find troubling is why the outputs codec id (fourcc) is displayed as mp42 (Microsoft’s MPEG-4 version 2 codec). Might have to re-evaulate Fabio's custom preset again.

Nice finding ce1st. Did the exact same thing awhile back by re-assigning my drive letters, but I had no way of proving this fix. This proves the doubts I was having. Under Picture Tab, you will see resize option. Put in custom resolution or click the drop down box and select preset resolution.

Under Audio Tab, change source to either MPlayer, MEncoder or FFmpeg by unchecking auto select box.

MediaCoder does not accept DCF as an input file. DCF is also a protected format. Please refer to Supported Audio & Video Formats.

I believe the movie you have was shoot in film (24 fps) and was Telecined (look under 2:3 pulldown). If that's the case, I suggest using 23.976 fps (24000/1001 in MediaCoder) to reverse the process.
