Re: Cropper Overhaul
I don't think it needs overhauling. it would be nice to see a quick explanation of what the numbers mean, perhaps in a tool tip though.

If a Feature is Unavailable Because of Non-Premium Say Which
So reasonably often i see the dialogue to say this feature is unavailable because I'm not using the premium version.
it would be really useful to know what feature triggered it.
I realise there is something commercial in the decision to show this or not. but i don't think it would do any harm.

Re: Need help converting to AVI
If you are using a dvd player that plays DivX/XviD it is unlikely to support 1080p. It is because you are converting full HD that your conversion rate is so slow. can't see your encoding settings but you likely want Video: format - XviD rate mode - 2 pass video bitrate ~1000kbps advanced simple prof...

Re: Prevent Shut Down or Stand By whilst encoding
I'm bumping this because i still think it's a really good idea.
I had an encode fail yesterday, couldn't work out how it happened, and then i realised it went in to standby whilst encoding which somehow caused an error 14

Re: Wait for H.265 (HEVC)?
It's bad to take your encoded movies and transcode them to something else yes. but it all depends. if they are on bluray they are already encoded in H264/AVC. But they are at bitrates around 30Mbit, when you are converting to bitrates much lower than that the bluray is effectively lossless. h265 is ...

Re: Donate version: wired prompt for premiun on batch job
I've had this warning pop up at times that i can't explain too. and completely block transcoding. my understanding is that it should only be audio normalisation and batch coding that is an issue. and that should just trigger the captcha, as in what is 44 + 9? in between jobs. i had one the other day...
