Re: Can't Bring MediaCoder GUI Window To Foreground
It may have somethig to do with the Dashboard, which was introduced in build 5300. It is a separate window giving the preview with statistics. Re: Can't Bring MediaCoder GUI Window To Foreground
Sorry, I am unable to reproduce this bahaviour. I have Windows 7 64-bit Home edition and I tried MediaCoder 5392 and 5588, both 64-bit versions, though the latter is the Premium version. On clicking the upper edge of the partly covered GUI it came to the foreground on both occasions. This was, as yo...

Re: Build 5588: mode 'Subtitle stream' does nothing
Thanks for the info.
I personally have no need for this - I did a brief test and started the Topic because of an irate user (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12989).

Build 5588: mode 'Subtitle stream' does nothing
I assume that setting the Mode to "Subtitle Stream" on the Subtitle tab would allow at least one such stream in the source file to copy over to the output. I have tried this for MKV to MP4, both formats that support subtitle streams and was not successful. I did try various choices for "ID" as seen ...

Re: So, is there a definitive way to transfer subtitles ?
I dare say.. this software just cant render subtitles... Actually, 'rendering subtitles' is what MediaCoder can do quite easily, as described in the above Guide. After all, rendering of subs amounts to 'hard subs', which is not what was asked in the first post, above. What was requested was a metho...
