is this why my XviD encodings don't play on my standalone anymore? i'm setting everything to XviD as i always have, but the output files have
Codec ID : FMP4
which doesn't play on anything that i use xvid for, my phone, tv, dvd player. (in avi)

Re: Compressed Headers in MKV
to be honest i am right at the limit of my knowledge but i presume it's this: --compression TID:method Selects the compression method to be used for the VobSub track. Note that the player also has to support this method. Valid values are 'none', 'zlib', 'lzo'/'lxo1x', 'bz2'/'bzlib' and 'mpeg4_p2'/'m...

Compressed Headers in MKV
I'm filing this as a bug though it's not really, more of a heads up. mkvtools now appears to include compressed headers by default. this is causing a problem for a lot of people as not many hardware or software players support them. in particular WDTV live doesn't nor does mkv2vob. more info here: h...

Re: wrong bit rate and sampling for mp3 x64
thanks for the reply.... I have a couple of questions. when i add --resample $(SampleRate) to the lame extra options, it's added to the command line as "--resample $(SampleRate)" where as i think it needs to be: --resample "$(SampleRate)" could this maybe be added by default, there is a sampling dia...

Re: Add rapidshare etc to download locations
yep i concede the point.
however, it would still have been a lot easier for me to download had there been a rapidshare link.
there's a site called multiupload that automatically takes your uploads and copies them to rapidshare, hotfile, megauploal, deposit files etc. could be quite useful.

Add rapidshare etc to download locations
there are always problems when a new version is released. Which is understandable.
you could add an 'Other download methods' below the server list and include Rapidshare, megaupload and maybe even torrents.
