MediaCoder

I'm relatively new to subtitles but in the subtitles dialogue if i go to add subtitles file by clicking on the ellipsis at the bottom (...) the file open dialogue opens, but weather i select file type 'subtitles files' or all files *.* no files are visible to me just folders.

i haven't been able to download the x64 for over 2 weeks.

i suspect that so few of the downloads are completing that the bandwidth is being used but not making a dent in the download requirements.

if it could just be uploaded to rapidshare or similar.....

it's been like this for a few days. i was waiting for someone to fix it.....

seems there is a 'enable multi threading' button on the lame tab.

i also understand there is a multithreaded version of mplayer about....

me either.....

obvious solution would just be to perform a switcheroo on the regular lame exe.

it is a pain that lame isn't multithreaded it don't half slow things down.

as an aside. i think a bit more exposition with the error codes would be useful.

i see the multithreaded version of lame was added in 2001 R8

anyone know how to use this?

i'd still be interested to know why it is failing crc before i disable the check.

i have the latest version of the x64 installer when i check the MD5 is is as it should be ie 9b47503e7e94cb70373d6fdf06690b4c

but when i run the installer i'm told that it has failed the integrity check.

i would love for the main download to be posted on rapidshare or similar. it's so hard to get the latest version within a couple of days of it coming out. but worse than that for people new to mediacoder, they wont be able to download it at all. the reason why this came to mind is someone was asking...
