Re: Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug?
For my case the original file has MP3 audio and I am trancoding the audio portion to MP3 audio with -7.5db gain. I disabled the video and just transcoded the audio and still have MP3 hissing. I then tried no audio gain adjustment. Same hissing result. I tried a file with AC3 audio and transcoded to ...

Re: AudioCoder 5178 fails to convert AC3 to LC-AAC
My sources are all AVI DuckTales cartoon episodes with AC-3 stereo. By the way, I'm talking about AUDIOCODER not MediaCoder. Since there is no forum for AudioCoder Bug Reports I use this one. I use the tab settings and not presets. I reverted back to AudioCoder 5150. My tab settings are identical to...

AudioCoder 5178 fails to convert AC3 to LC-AAC
I have tried to convert numerous AC3 files to LC-AAC. Every file is incomplete. I repeated the exact same process, using the exact same settings, using AudioCoder 5150. Every conversion was successful and complete. I have not had success with any AudioCoder version after 5150. All the newer versions...

Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug? [FIXED]
I am decreasing audio gain in AVI file. Using COPY VIDEO, MP3 audio with MPlayer source and LAME MP3 encoder, AVI container, Audio Gain of -7.5. Resultant audio is total hissing. This file converts fine with 5158 and 5176. I notice per Change log that 5177 uses a new version of MPlayer. Is this the ...

Re: how to convert mp4 to avi?
Hi, I used the your last settings (posted on Sat) on an MP4 file that contains H264 video and LC-AAC 6 channel sound. You didn't specify how many audio channels you used. That is in the Sound tab. I used Stereo. It converted just fine with no errors. I am using build 5158. Unfortunately each build s...

Re: build 5160 fails to transcode audio into LC-AAC 2ch
Gave up? No I did not do that. I have 16 various files, cut down to 1 minute each, of various combinations of video, audio, and container formats. Concerning my special MP4 LC-AAC problem, I have tried every combination of encoders and sources that are available with MediaCoder. None of them worked ...

Re: build 5160 fails to transcode audio into LC-AAC 2ch
The Guides say nothing about using Copy Video. The Guides want me to re-encode the video. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I want my files to be as close to the original video content without introducing any further loss. I need to change the audio simply because my media player has problems with certain audio...

Re: Valid video/audio formats for containers?
Thanks ! I'll start with that. It did answer a couple of my questions. Unfortunately it also created a couple of more questions. But I know where to look for those answers. Thank you again.

Valid video/audio formats for containers?
I have read in several different topics that one must make sure they use valid video and audio format combinations for the container they want to use. I looked through the Tips and Guides, and searched Google, for some definitions for these valid combinations. I couldn't find anything. Does someone ...
