Re: Subtitle Question

Good luck with that Megatherion. I know you can get the subtitles hardcoded into the mkv file. I have lots of movies that I've done this to. Avatar and X-Men 5 are just 2 examples where I've edited the srt subtitle file, merged back together and hardcoded the new subtitles into the movie. If you hav...

Re: Subtitle Question

I would agree with you, as that is how I used to think. I wanted MediaCoder to do it all like I thought it should. I still think it should and probably could be corrected to do what it should, but I think the developer has too full of a platter to actually commit to creating a single complete versio...

Re: Subtitle Question

meRobs: I'm assuming you are talking to me. Choosing subtitle tracks did not work for me. I was constantly having inconsistent problems with hardcoding subtitles in original files. Some files worked. Some files did not work. Same settings used on all files. And I also had inconsistent results with t...

Re: Subtitle Question

I hardcode many subtitles into my mkv movies when there is foreign language (non-English) in the original mkv movie. I have had terrible luck with hardcoding these subtitles into my mkv movies using Mediacoder until I sat down and did a lot of experimenting and logging all my trials and results. Wha...

When will a new AudioCoder be released?

I like using AudioCoder. I know I can do the same thing with MediaCoder by disabling several options but AudioCoder already has that set up.

So, when will a new AudioCoder be released ?????

Where to find archived versions of Audiocoder

I know there is a place to download older versions of Mediacoder. But I cannot find any place that has older versions of Audiocoder. I have a guide for making PS3 compatible files and I use Audiocoder 5150 for transcoding the audio portion of a file. Newer versions don't work correctly. Is there any...

Re: Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug?

I just tried build 5183 and got the same error code 15. I changed the Multiplexer from auto select to MEncoder. This time no error15. However the audio was still hissing noise. I listened very carefully, trying to filter the noise out, and realized that there was audio present. The audio sounded lik...

Re: Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug?

I tried build 5182. Copy video, transcode original MP3 to MP3 with audio gain of -7.5db just as before. I now get an Error15.

I disabled video and just transcoded audio. Resultant MP3 audio is still all hissing noise.
