Re: Mediacoder ignores container (mkv) delay, loses a/v sync
Thanks, I will give that a try. The particular file I was struggling with was fixed with a manual input of audio delay; but I will retry it just to test that promising feature. Will report - probably on the weekend.

Mediacoder ignores container (mkv) delay, loses a/v sync
I have a high bitrate MKV with x264 video and 5.1 DTS audio. On the container, there is a delay value set of 1.1 second. When I do a basic recoding, to low-bitrate x264 + AAC, in an mp4 container, the resulting container has no delay set, and the video is exactly out of sync by 1.1 second. If I manu...

Re: Multitrack audio-only conversion question
I've also reported here a year ago, about subtitle streams disappearing from an MKV to MKV conversion. Stanley (the developer) said something about it maybe being a bug. It's not something I frequently need though. If you are somewhat handy with DOS commands, you can merge the subtitle streams of th...

Feature "save intermediate files on error" saves always
I guess this is now a bug, instead of a feature request. There was a request to save intermediate files if muxing failed, which was implemented earlier in the year. :) http://forum.mediacoderhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12671 It would be especially useful on Error 15 (failure to mux), which seem to co...

different x86 build 5570 on softpedia, than here
FWIW. I wanted to download the latest x86 build 5570 today. I figured I would 'offload' the mediacoderhq.com server, and get it from softpedia. Although supposedly the Softpedia download should be unmodified etc, I noticed the md5 didn't match the one posted here. I used "Softpedia Secure Download (...

Re: Save intermediate recoded streams on Error 15 = muxing f
I'm trying to use this feature "keep intermediate/temp files on Error". I'm under the impression that it doesn't work as intended. It seems to keep intermediate files always. Note: I'm on 32-bit build 5566 (current/latest), and I see that activating this setting has produced the following in my pres...

Re: Build 5540-42-56: faulty chapter durations for Add Track
Perhaps MeRobs could share the test files he's using for this test :) It might help Stanley to reproduce :) to paraphrase Stanley's sig... when people work together, they work a lot better :D btw, I skipped most of summer, being away from computers and video transcoding. I'm excited to see there's n...

Re: Trancoding 100% DONE but process has not finished-comple
the transcoding will produce temporary files for the audio and video stream. When the progress reaches 100%, these temp files are muxed into the final file. Given that your input is several gigabytes, I imagine the muxing may take some time. Try to see in the Mediacoder command window (shortcut F6),...
