for some reason my XviD frame rates are being doubled. no idea why.

Xvidxore is a lot faster on my system. i do remember from the past thinking that ffmpeg was fast i'm guessing that would have been on my dual core. on my quad the fully multithreaded xvidcore works wonderfully, maxes out my cpu. with ffmpeg cpu load will be like 30% including the decoding and audio....

We have seen this before. Back in 2011 R9 this was fixed. the changelog includes this item -Fixed XVID fourcc issue in AVI container so my guess is that this is actually a bug and Stanley just doesn't know about it. it is pretty frustrating to have all your pre-sets set. do hours of encoding and fin...

I wish there was an easy way around this.

a button for header stripping on/off.

i've been using ffmpeg as my mkv muxer, which doesn't compress the headers.

use virtual dub. it's trivial. just be sure to set the audio and video to direct stream copy then use the append option.

anyone know where i could get one? i'm making an icon for my dock.

i've done a reasonable job of extracting one but i wondered if anyone knew where i could get one from a bit nearer the source.

ahhh. i had been wondering about this.

so this setting is saved with the presets. that clears a few things up.
