I had no problems downloading MediaCoder 5.1 r8. Maybe you selected a mirror that wasn't working at SourceForge.

Have you consider using Clip Selection Dialog?

Go to Transcode Menu---->Clip Selection

Then go to Clip Selection Dialog - MediaCoderWiki guide

Much easier this way then manually entering the values. Hopefully this should work better.

Click the cancel button a couple times to bypass the message. After MediaCoder opens, use the add track button. After that's open, close the windows. Close the program and rerun it again. If that doesn't get rid of the error message, try revert all settings through file menu.

I got the same error message as well regarding "cpuinfo.dll". The solution? Download MediaCoder 5.1 r7 full instead of 2822 build update. Apparently "cpuinfo.dll" was not bundled in the update.

Maybe stanley should add the option None under Muxer tab. So when the user selects this, it should take the audio and video file that is stored in the temp folder and output it to the final folder. Just an idea.

More likely a false positive reading from the NSIS installer (the file it picks up is usually InstallOptions.dll). This has been mentioned at Nullsoft forum before. Nothing new with that.
