I'm kinda lost on some of things you said. Maybe you can clarify this for me.

Are you using Windows Movie Maker to produce original AVI files from your webcam?

OR

Are you using Sony Handycam software to produce original AVI files from your webcam?

Just want to make sure I understand this.

Maybe he means from the ogm file? More then likely it won't transfer the subtitle to the new format. The only way I see the subtitle being transfered to the new audio/video format is loading an external subtitle file yourself through the Subtitle Tab . So I guess in a way, it is optional. Not sure t...

When I was looking at the link you gave to guest, wasn't sure what you were pointing to exactly. But If I were to guess, I'm assuming you had these two links in mind?

Not possible because the music that Napster sells are protected audio files encoded with Windows Media Audio (WMA). The only way to transcode the audio is to strip out the Digital Rights Management (DRM). MediaCoder itself can handle WMA just not protected WMA.

If you want to change the way the file is outputted, go to Text Tab and check Format Output File Name. Hit the drop down box and pick the layout you want. You can also create your own layout.

Container tab has been replaced with Muxer Tab (although not consider container). The muxer tab has default, MP4box, Matroska Merger and PMP Muxer settings. If you want to switch containers, go to Video Tab and look for Format.

Maybe clip selection doesn't work on clips that are real long. The only video I tested on was a 4.5 minute clip. I'm clueless on this one.

I tested out the slider through Clip Selection dialog window and worked on my end. The slider does move in the dialog window. Make sure you click on the pause button, afterwards set your make-in and mark-out position to whatever part of the video you want. Apply your settings.
