no file outputed?
I don't understand why MediaCoder would display the error "no file outputed" ? (And what is more, after all 3 passes of a 3-pass encoding have been FINISHED already.) The only reason I would see is "insufficient diskspace", but the error should be named accordingly. Other than that I wouldn't know.....

Re: Copy audio is ignored 0.7.2 (b4582+b4594)
Would it not be better to remove the option until the bug is fixed? agreed! Test is for yourself. why so unfriendly?!? I don't know if it is possible at all to install the FULL edition (which I currently have) plus the AUDIO edition simultaneously and I wouldn't want to try that because I don't wan...

Re: video summarization / snapshot gallery / scene change detect
Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I understood your point about erotic stuff, but I'm happy that you like the idea. If you google "video summarization" or "scene change detection" there are like 1 million results. And the weird thing about it is that there are literally hundreds of scholarly...

video summarization / snapshot gallery / scene change detect
Hi folks. Can MediaCoder do this, or do you otherwise know a program that can do the following:
parse a video file, detect all scene changes and make snapshots of frame 1 of each new scene
This way you create a "storyboard"/"snapsh gallery" for the movie.
Thank you.

Re: documentation of de-interlacing methods ?
No I didn't click on apply, because dragging the saturation slider has immediate effect on the preview, which would logically call for all options to be immediately visible on preview, if we are speaking of a logical GUI. I therefore thought "apply" would tell the program to use the chosen settings ...

Re: documentation of de-interlacing methods ?
Thanks for your reply, mixer. Yes, I have read quite a few sites on the topic, and a multitude of different methods are discussed. I already knew 100fps also. But in MediaCoder, there are a couple of deinterlacing methods that aren't discussed anywhere on the net (at least, not that I would know of)...

documentation of de-interlacing methods ?
Hi. I wouldn't hope for a "documentation", but is there maybe a text briefly commenting on the different de-interlacing methods available in MediaCoder ?

Re: "grouping" does not work (0.7.2.4582)
thanks for your explanation. That's what I expected. Yes, a group number appears for all grouped files. "1" in my case, because I tried only with one group and one conversion job. I did not try to play the files, I only wanted to convert them. I don't care about the progress bar, I only mentioned it...
