MediaCoder

Folks -i should clarify ... I have all 6 of my CPU cores chundering away nicely- when i say "threads" i mean that i have selected 2 parallelised tasks - so that 2 files are encoded at the same time. it bombs out towards the end of the encode... i am using the 'Ipod' profile... the default decoder is...

I get this error when tasking with 2 threads....

single thread seems ok.

Not sure if you know this but mediacoder has GPU encoding support (CUDA) and it works quite well

My question was around getting the apparent throttle removed from Mediacoder....

Hi folks... i have had a problem with mediacoder CUDA for some time - when doing a h264 encode - the CPU is running and about 30% utilisation, and the GPU at about 35%... this gives me an encoding speed of about 6x. OK - the latest 5072 verion has broken CUDA in both x86 and x64 bit verions...

Can you guys roll back that bit of the code?
