So, did we ever eliminate the possibility of a bad original file? (Edit): I'm also curious what codec you are using for the audio WMV? Would that be the default settings (Windows Media 9.1) or one of the others? Have you tried on of the others or settings? The audio codec is the default you get whe...

I converted the same sample Quicktime MOV file to Windows Media format, and had the EXACT same scenario! The conversion failed at about frame #10. I then disabled the audio, and re-ran the conversioni s...

We've had various reports on the "blocked..." error and it seems to fall into two area problems: 1. Incorrect settings (you seem okay and sound like you've got an idea of what settings you need) Yes, I'm simply choosing the video option of 'windows media', not changing any defaults. And, the same f...

Beginner frustrations - inconsistent results - 'blocking'.

I downloaded MediaCoder primarily to convert some quicktime .MOV files from my panasonic digital camera into windows media format (WMV). I first downloaded the 'stable' version - MediaCoder-0.6.1.4045 - but found that it would crash during execution, so downloaded the 'latest' (at the time, last wee...
