Re: Encoding videos with AAC audio using Avisynth
FFDshow no trouble if don't use many other directx filters, can be plenty trouble if you do. Have just got the final barrow load of avisynth frontends to test. If find i need ffdshow installed then i'll forget about using avisynth forever. Check the sampling rate set to 48000 Hz as is used most ofte...

It has video and audio it did save a 30 sec clip from a 1 hour video. With xvid using container avi and remuxer i got another 30 sec clip ou...

Re: Help with AviSynth and overlays.
Or you could also try with vlc as the video source, then click on source button next to it and add in the Extra Options. Which you will find in the vlc manual, i looked there after last posting here and saw add logo overlay. Even a way to disable logo overlay easily if don't need it. Though i guess ...

Re: How to copy preset from a video to an other video
To save or load a preset use File > Save or Load A Preset options If have two videos to transcode and are loaded into mediacoder, the current settings you have set will be used for both. Dending on State > Done or Undone. These States can be chosen using the Set Item State, when the right mouse butt...

Re: Can't Boot-up Mediacoder
Backup first and then delete the Prefs.xml in mediacoder folder. Then if mediaocder runs ok, delete the prefs file you had backed up.

Re: Sounds Disappears(FIXED myself) But new problem with subtitl
Mediacoder should handle this with ffmpeg or other codec. I read that ffmpeg can pipe a file and has mov2text for subs, so could extract subs to a file and then load them back automaticaly during transcode. At least that what i make of it from the ffmpeg manual. Have a look at it you should be able ...

Addition with above post, test was done with save test files not active, incase you think that is the problem. Or maybe auto saving the first pass is the problem

Re: Audio and Video Stream not deleted after muxing

Mode > Two Pass as Jankes said, seems to be the key, using other Mode 's this does not happen.

Re: [FIXED] 4702 Update not installing over 4700 [Ok with 4703]
Seems likely that stanley is fixing the paths problem for multi installs. Will test that soon, ater first backing up everything and correcting folder layout for it. Update 4703 install over 4700. Installer chosen location Program Files\Mediacoder [this is as normal] Changed the location to Mediacode...
