Mediacoder 5153 can't use 2 pass encoding MPEG-4 FFMpeg

Hi,
Mediacoder build 5153
2-pass encoding still fails for MPEG-4 for FFMpeg.
Fixed for H.264 and Xvid.

Edit: How come this problem is marked as FIXED when it is completely not so?

Re: MKV Output corrupt

Hi,
Try using Resize along with the cropper. You will have to work with aspect ratio, but it seems to work.

Re: Help: MPEG4 in MP4

Thanks. The problem was with the splitter. It was set to Haali by default. The video is alright when splitter option is set to Auto Select using Codec Tweak Tool. The Track ID being set to 201, 101 seems to occur only with AAC audio (My earlier trials involved only LC-AAC, HE-AAC and not all audio w...

Help: MPEG4 in MP4

Hi, In Mediacoder build 5070 and some of the preceding releases, when tried to encode MPEG4 video (by default using FFMpeg as the encoder) in MP4 container, the resulting video was not displayed (only the WMP visualization was shown) in Windows Media Player with K-Lite Codec pack installed, though t...

Re: Resize in 0.7.5.4742 and 4760

Hi, Expand to fit doesn't seem to work when the source video has non standard aspect ratios. Error 15 occurs when doing this. The console shows something like Full DR not possible: Working with slices (Sorry I am unable to post full details now) It works fine with a 1080p video. Source video: Xvid;m...

Re: Resize in 0.7.5.4742 and 4760

Isn't it possible to resize the video as earlier and expand the frame to a 8 or 16 multiple height (with black bands; Expand option in Mediacoder Settings-Video Filters) so that the video won't get distorted and the resolution becomes codec friendly?

Re: Resize in 0.7.5.4760 Help

The height is adjusted to nearest a multiple of 16 by Mediacoder and it continues to be so in 0.7.5.4760. You an see it in the Avisynth options when in Expert user interface mode. Really, it seems like it has nothing to do with the encoder or codec (most of them can have finer heights i.e. multiple ...

Re: Resize in 0.7.5.4742

The height being adjusted to multiple of 16 was absent in previous versions where a multiple of 2 closer to given height was selected and conversion was done without any problems with Xvid, H.264, MPEG4 etc.The adjustment to multiple of 16 causes much distortion in aspect ratio of low resolution vid...

Resize in 0.7.5.4742 and 4760

Hi, Mediacoder 0.7.5.4742 1. While resizing video, the Height is always adjusted to nearest multiple of 16 even with Auto Adjust disabled . Custom Height adjustment cannot be done. 2. Is this how Auto Adjust works? -One among Width or Height is adjusted, the other is obtained from user setting ( Resi...

Re: H.264 : Change FourCC

Hi, I had your idea clear. I think Override fourCC currently doesn't work with MP4 or 3GP. I think I'll learn more about FourCC's and their significance and control in various containers. Looks like AVI allows nice control over FourCC's. I shall experiment more or else let us look out for it in futu...
