After installing Windows 10 I got the same problem. But the solution bellow didn't work for me. What have worked was: I moved the folder Mediacoder to another location diferent from the default (I mean, program files). And it worked like a charm. I don't know if I culd help you, but... Have you check marked avisynth? It works for me. When the file is a MKV MediaCoder calls the VobSub automatically. It worked for me, I just finished to convert a MKV file right now. Of course I have the K-lite codec pack full installed, otherwise, I think, it ...

Have you find your answer? Because I have the same problem and I posted it here and until now nothing.
I had to use another program like TMPgencoder or Filefactory (this one is free too) though I love Mediacoder,
but since the 0.7.0.4370 version it is not working anymore.

Why doesn't Mediacoder, since 4370, render the subtitles (in aas, saa embeded in *.mkv container) as they are shown when we played that file?

Could be that this is happening only in my PC? How come?
I've tested Media Coder (after 4370) in a Virtual clean
Machine, and none of them work, so is this a bug?

Put the sub in the same folder where the movie is and rename it with the same name (but don't touch in the extension). Only that. Media coder recognizes the subtitle automatically.

Hi all.

Since version 0.7.4.380 that mkv (with the option avisynth checked) stop opening all kind of *.mkv files. I had to "downgrade" to 0.7.4.370.
Anyone knows sometging about it? Any clues?
