Problem converting video

I'm trying to convert a video I exported in full processing mode from Virtualdub.
That video is about 3:15. However, the video produced by MediaCoder is invariably about 1:15.

I can't figure it out, can anyone assist?

Anyways, how was it that you determine which FPS to use?

For playing in DirectShow (also use DirectShowSource in Avisynth script) must have installed required splitter and decoders. Media Player Classic have internal splitter for M...

When I try to do the conversion, it say nothing was output and says error as the status, or mediacoder just crashes.

(Usually the crashing)

Problem converting a VFR mp4 file

I have a VFR mp4/h264 file. I'm trying to convert it to an xvid avi.

I have set a fixed framerate, but each time I try, the audio is horribly out of sync.

Is there any way to do this?

Increase volume of audio without fully redoing?

Is there any way I can put a file though and only increase the volume without having any degredation of the video?

(If necessary separating the audio, increasing and then reintegrating is fine)

How do you turn off update checking

I don't want to check for updates. How can I turn that off?
(I'm using the stable version)
