MediaCoder

Well, it's been two years. Is there an extension for the IRiver H300 series available anywhere? I know there's one for the H10s. Will that work for H300?

I'm having the same issue. All my mp3 files show a play time of 51 minutes 18 seconds. They give the correct time in Winamp but show the wrong time in WMP. The files themselves play fine but this time thing is a little irritating . Has anyone managed to figure this out yet?

Thanks for the change in settings B!ink. It's really bought down the encoding time.

I went through Fabio Sonatti's pdf and couldn't understand 99% of it . Guess I'm not going to be meddling with the settings just yet.

I tried out the updated settings and realised that it's now taking me around 9 hours to encode a 1 hour video file. Is there any way to bring down the encoding time? The earlier settings took about half the time it's currently taking.

I was wondering if there is a way to make MediaCoder work with KDVD templates. These allow you to fit 4-5 movies onto a single DVD without losing out on quality. Can this already be done or are there plans to make this possible in future versions? So far, if I need to use the templates, I have to us...

It's one of those local makes (something called DVS). If I'm not mistaken, mpeg-4 was one of the supported formats so maybe I can play these files . Better find the user manual and check.

Okay that makes sense. I was trying to create something to play on a regular DVD player.

Thanks for the guide B!ink. I tried it out and it worked great. My only questin is can these settings be used for other containers? I tried to create an avi with the same specs but couldn't do it. Any idea what I did wrong?
