Re: Digital Camera Videos conversion (AVI to MP4 (H264 + AAC)
Yeah, that can be a headache. I find it is usually an obscure setting like Container (MP4), Multiplexer (Auto), Remuxer (MP4Creator). Sometimes helps to go File -> Load Preset and load one like "AVCHD-to-MP4.xml" that you can copy settings from. Definitely save your settings once you get it working....

Re: Welcome screen
Stanley, the reality is that it has changed for many users. Denying that will just make them give up on MediaCoder. The "Start MediaCoder" Button fails in Opera. So I have to load IE (OUCH!) and paste in the link, which works. However, now, in version 0.7.2.4524, the welcome screen comes up EVERY ti...

However, now, in version 0.7.2.4524, the welcome screen comes up EVERY time I load MediaCoder, which is getting beyond a drag. However, I found a good solution. In MediaCoder, go to File->S...

Re: How to archive Digital Camera Videos as MP4 (H264 + AAC)
Hi again slobjones, I don't see an option in Picture to rotate the output. Where do I find that option? Yes, after version 0.7.0.4399 they hid this feature, but it is still there. To be honest, I still use the olde version for this reason, but apparently it's in the "Settings" or Advanced Settings (...

Re: How to archive Digital Camera Videos as MP4 (H264 + AAC)
Hi Slobjones, Where do I input 48kbps? Under the Average Bitrate selection, I see "Lowest-Highest" with a window in the middle that defaults to "128". Do I replace this number with "48"? In the FAAC settings, if you use "Average Bitrate", then the number in the lowest-highest box = XXkbs. So yes, yo...

Awsome, thanks. I found it very handy where it was, but it is good to still have access to it.

Re: Saving preset does not save audio bitrate
Aaah, good to know. Definitely helpful thanks.
However, I'd still have to call this a bug, though not as big as first thought (but hopefully that will make it easier to fix too .
Thanks again.

Re: Buggy Audio Delay for v. 0.7.1.4450
I tried some audio delays (MP4, H264, FAAC AAC, using only first 10 seconds): Under the Sound tab: - Delay of 1000 works. - In my opinion it should say "Delay (ms)", but anyway, it works. - However, -1000 does not work. This is indeed a bug, and if your audio is lagging, it is what you need! Under t...

I second that.
