MediaCoder does it all one-step MKV+subs to MPG, except for that one little last problem of not producing MPG files that I can use in DVDA. I even get DVD compliant audio with MediaCoder. It's just the video that isn't compliant. sounds quite simple. :) but you say that the final media is DVD-Video...

Wow, this feels like a long time ago! BTW: You can use tools like EasyRecovery or GetDataBack to recover your file. thanx for fixing! :) i used a tool like that (well, kinda..... it was some freeware undelete stuff), but it found only a zero byte file. maybe i should try with some other rescue software? but hey, tha case sensitivity bu...
