I have .ts files remuxed from .m2ts Blu-Ray rips. I would like to transcode to .mkv or .avi in 1080p preserving best possible qualityto approximately 50% of present file size.
As you know Blu-Ray can contain MPEG2,VC-1 or H264 so some files will compress less than others.

What about 1080p?
I'd like to transcode Blu-Ray rips to 1080p up to, say, 15GB maximum. How would you adjust settings?

Filesize of ts files is incorrect
I'm trying to add .ts files originated from Blu-Ray. Two examples: 16.3GB file when added is reported as 380MB! 21.6GB file reported as 693MB! In both instances when I hit start I am told that the "testing phase has failed". Both files play fine and work fine with everything else. Any ideas please?

I have set mode to quality and specified 100%. I assume this is 100% of original quality so I would expect the fil...

Does anyone have any suggestions for settings on this? At the moment on my 2.93GHz Core 2 Extreme I'm getting 2fps which is pai...
