In media player classic you can do
Play > Goto > then enter the exact frame you want to skip to. this is how i currently compared encodes, but if Xul player had the ability it would make things allot easyier.

Duel video mode is great, and i want to use it to compare re encodes/different codecs.

Would it be possible to add a Skip to frame, so we can skip to an exact frame.

Anything to help compare different encodes of the same video would be great.

thanks disabling in settings works, i now get the original FPS.

Strange it does not work in the pictures tab.

Would be nice to be able to drag a file into the playlist/play window. Double clicking the video causing it to go full screen would be good instea...

If i set the FPS manually in setting > video filter > framerate or if i set it manually under the picture tab i get the correct FPS.

If i set it to 0/original i get 25fps no matter what the original FPS is.
My settings under Framerate are

works fine for me, do you have firefox installed?
