I'm having the exact same problem. At first, I thought the problem was only when I delayed the subtitles (they weren't aligned quite right), but it turns out it is all the time.

My subtitles appear about a half second too early. However, if I tell the subtitle to have a delay, the subtitle does a flicker (appear, disappear, appear). Any ideas?
