Re: MediaCoder x264 settings aren't passed to encoder
Oh just saw that. One thing I just saw though, the --ref parameter is passed twice (still present), after --subme and after --merange, unless you need to specify it for both.

Re: Post your working "Presets" here
I've got many preset, I'll post my main two here. They have different purpose and different compression. Some might say I'm overkill, but in my world, quality is important. Thus, these preset have very high quality for a good compression. They are all used to compress a raw blu-ray mkv (made with ma...

Re: Feedbacks needed for Segmental Video Encoding
I don't know if it's my setting but I failed to see the problem on my computer (why would I use SVE). I have a i7-920 @4.2ghz with 6g of ram. I encode raw blu-ray mkv to x264 using cpu only (no cuda, quicksync, opencli...). I have my own custom preset, using high10 and level 4.1 with 2-pass. When I ...

MediaCoder x264 settings aren't passed to encoder
Hello, When using x264 with high10 profile, it use the x264_10bpp encoder, which is what it should do. In the setting screen, the B-Frames option for x264 isn't pass to the encoder when using high10. If using high or other, it will use the value but not on high10, it use a default of 5 B-Frames. Tho...

h.264 high10 profile
Hello, There is a bug with high10 profile. When using this profile, not all parameters get used (you can see it in console window and in advanced view). for exemple, the b-frames maximum number is not used, thus using default value, the partition type isn't passed (like partitions all 8x8dct), the -...

Re: bframe parameters not used
I'm on 5585. Using profile high10. If I set to High, the parameters appear in the command line. High10 should have the option too. Also, in the command line, there's 2 time the --ref command. Changing the number of reference frame change both, so it's redundant. I though using advanced mode, I could...

bframe parameters not used
Hello, the bframe parameters in x264 compression isn't used. Whatever you set it to, it doesn't appear in the advanced "video options" window and when checking the console, the x264 info screen clearly say bframe=5 whatever setting you put. I've tried with all rate mode and setting I can, they all d...
